Schuper excited about training today but it started to thunder while I was reaching the pool and then I realised the lightning alert had gone off even before I arrived... :(
But maybe these little things are blessings in disguises, because the whole team used to take so many things for granted. Our equipment, and then we lost 2 Bracs; our teacher in charge, and then we got 2 newer teacher in charges; our poolslots, and then we stopped having so many of them. We should be appreciative of what we have and TREASURE ALL OUR OPPORTUNITIES. (Oh my god I sound like a textbook.)
After which we all proceeded to the freaking hot basketball court to do our pushups. I spent the whole time doing the 100 pushups trying to recall the last time I actually did 100 pushups. Up till now I still don't remember. It's been ages since we've noticed all these little details, but I think those are what will help us improve and become more worthy of being called Canoe Polo players. So instead of making the distinction between guys and girls, can we all try to perform to the guys standards for our subsequent land trainings say, after the exams? We'll do guy pushups and try pullups instead of inclined.
Oh and let's do running. Fartlek. I find it helpful for stamina luh, not sure about you all. The standard must be higher though, like striding must really stride and even jogging is not supposed to be super slow walking speed. Wanna try it out?
ON A FINAL NOTE, LET'S ALL AIM TO DO AT LEAST 3 PULLUPS BY THE END OF THIS YEAR. GO GIRLS WE KNOW WE CAN DO IT ;D
